During my recent city break in Hiroshima, I had the pleasure of staying at Toyoko Inn Hiroshima Ekimae Ohashi Minami, which proved to be a fantastic base for exploring the city’s rich history. The hotel is ideally located just a mere 300 meters from the train station, allowing easy access to not only Hiroshima Castle and the poignant Peace Memorial Museum, but also vibrant dining and shopping areas. My room may have been modestly sized, yet it was clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a flat-screen TV and a fridge—perfect for unwinding after a day of cycling through the historical landscapes. I thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, offering a delightful array of options to fuel my explorations, and the friendly staff were always on hand with valuable local insights. The convenience of on-site laundry facilities could be beneficial for any traveler; although I didn’t use them this time, it’s nice to know they were available. I highly recommend Toyoko Inn Hiroshima for those seeking comfort and accessibility while diving into the poignant history of Hiroshima. Whether traveling solo or with companions, this hotel undoubtedly facilitates both relaxation and adventure.
